Joint Property Match Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
KeyCoMatch (“Platform”) is operated by Joint Property Match Corp., a Canadian corporation.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not
agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Purpose
KeyCoMatch provides tools to help users connect, organize, and manage housing
relationships, including renting, co-renting, co-ownership, and professional listings.
KeyCoMatch does not provide legal, real estate brokerage, financial, or mediation services.
Trust Signals & Feedback
KeyCoMatch may display verification indicators, interaction history, and structured user
feedback to support transparency and trust. These indicators reflect user-provided information
and third-party verification where applicable.
Feedback is intended to describe platform interactions only and does not constitute
endorsements, guarantees, or character assessments. KeyCoMatch reserves the right to moderate,
restrict, or remove feedback that violates community standards or legal requirements.
3. User Roles
Users may register as tenants, renters, co-owners, landlords, realtors, property managers, or
service providers. Access to features varies by role and subscription tier.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Square (website).
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Subscription features, limits, and add-ons are subject to change with notice.
- Annual pricing, where offered, does not guarantee rollover of unused credits.
5. AI-Assisted Features
The Platform includes AI-assisted tools (via Aminos and AI Coaches) for:
- platform guidance
- workflow explanations
- housing information
- communication support
- dispute reflection & de-escalation
AI tools provide general information only and do not constitute legal, financial, housing,
medical, or professional advice.
Dispute and reflection tools are subject to usage limits and may be restricted if used
excessively, for non-housing purposes, or in a manner inconsistent with platform intent.
KeyCoMatch:
- does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of AI output
- is not responsible for decisions made based on AI content
- may limit, throttle, or suspend AI access to manage cost and abuse
6. Dispute & Venting Tools
Certain AI features are designed to support communication, reflection, and de-escalation only.
These tools:
- are not mediation
- are not legal services
- are not therapy
- do not create any professional relationship
Formal mediation services, when available, are offered separately and subject to additional terms
and fees.
7. Messaging & Conduct
Platform messaging is intended solely for housing-related communication.
Users may not:
- use messaging for harassment, dating, or non-housing purposes
- abuse messaging limits or automation
- attempt to bypass system controls
KeyCoMatch may restrict or terminate messaging access at its discretion.
8. Verification & Screening
Verification & Third-Party Services
Verification Services
KeyCoMatch facilitates access to third-party verification services, including identity,
background, credit, and reference checks, which are performed by independent providers such as
Inline Security and its affiliates.
Depending on the service selected, payment for verification may be processed by:
- KeyCoMatch as a platform facilitation service, or
- The third-party verification provider directly.
Users acknowledge that:
- Verification services are performed exclusively by third-party providers under their own
terms and privacy policies. - Payment to KeyCoMatch or a third-party provider does not guarantee verification
outcomes, approvals, or results. - KeyCoMatch does not conduct verification checks and does not access or store sensitive
verification data unless explicitly shared by the user. - Fees may include platform facilitation, administrative charges, or referral-based markups
in addition to third-party provider costs.
Any disputes regarding verification results must be directed to the third-party provider
responsible for the service.
9. Realtors & Referral Compensation
KeyCoMatch may receive referral compensation from licensed professionals if a transaction
occurs within a defined period after an introduction.
Users acknowledge:
- referral fees are paid by professionals, not users
- user pricing is not increased due to referrals
- compensation is subject to provincial laws and written agreements
Failure by a professional to comply with referral agreements may result in suspension,
termination, invoicing, or legal enforcement.
10. Acceptable Use & Enforcement
KeyCoMatch may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- misuse of AI or messaging
- harassment or discrimination
- misrepresentation
- non-payment
- attempts to circumvent platform limits
11. Limitation of Liability
• All content, logos, and materials are the property of Joint Property Match.
• Restrictions apply to the use, reproduction, and distribution of platform content.
• User-generated content guidelines and ownership rights are outlined in our platform
policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyCoMatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province in which the user resides, or British
Columbia where not otherwise specified.
